altered State Tours and tastings

For private parties, tours and tastings, please contact the distillery directly via email at info@alteredstatedistillery.com 

We do our best  to accommodate private tours and tastings whenever possible. It is best if you contact us in advance to schedule, but if you are visiting and the owner is available, he would be happy to take you on a tour of our production space. Tastings are available during open hours and can be conducted by any of our front of house staff. You are always welcome to try our spirits before purchase. Our kitchen is now open. Click on the "Dining" tab for more information. Please ask our staff about current selections.

We host more live local and regional music than anyone in Erie !!!

Altered State Distillery is a strong supporter of  local and regional musicians,  breweries, wineries, artists, even animal shelters .

Visit us Tuesday through Thursday from 4-6 for happy hour.  Enjoy live local and regional music every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 pm year round, select Thursdays in the winter/spring, and Acoustic Brunches on Sundays . Or stop in for a cocktail or a tasting anytime! Keep an eye on our socials for Trivia Nights, Paint & Sips, Movie Nights and for sign-ups our fall Curling League!!

Lopaka Rootz is a singer/songwriter & musician from Hawaii. His music is a unique style of positive original upbeat reggae with a message of gratitude and positivity.
We're going to try to squeeze the last bits of beauty out of the fall, so if the weather is warm (above 60 at 10pm) and dry, we will host this show outdoors. If not, we'll throw this party inside.

Five years ago this week, we opened our doors to the public .  After years of planning, building, learning and growing our barrel collection, on Saturday, November 16th, 2019,  we were finally ready to have our soft opening. 

The years have certainly had their ups and downs. Through COVID, cancer in our family, changes in ownership, inflation challenges, and adding an entire kitchen, we've withstood some pretty sizable storms, during which, we somehow managed to earn local, national and international notoriety for our business, products and packaging.  Looking back on it all, it's just nuts!  Through it all we've experienced support like we could have never dreamed, and because of that, because of you, we're still here!  That is something to celebrate, and we hope you'll join us!

Influences ranging from P-Funk and The Meters to new-age bands such as Lettuce and Cory Wong drive Phunkademic's desire to get the crowd on their fee
